If it is starting to feel a little like dejavu – it is because it kind of is. Once again an urgent request to update Google Chrome has come down the pike. This latest threat is a Zero Day – which means that the threat is active and the day it was found was the day it was already in execution. So as in ‘I was today years old when I found out about xyz’. Google is not ready to divulge yet what the vulnerability is – but they have already rolled out a patch to update. If you are unsure if your Google Chrome is up-to-date on patches – you can go to Menu > Help > About Google Chrome.
Google has patched six zero-day vulnerabilities in Chrome since the start of 2022, including CVE-2022-0609, CVE-2022-1096, CVE-2022-1364, CVE-2022-2294, and CVE-2022-2856.
